WHY PARTNER WITH US?
Our Strenght
For organisations building a consortium for an EU call, Orizzonti brings a combination that is uncommon in a single Italian partner:
- 20+ years of uninterrupted fieldwork with migrants, refugees and unaccompanied minors — not as a project add-on, but as our founding mandate.
- Direct pipeline to beneficiaries: we run live services daily in the communities most EU social inclusion projects target, enabling rapid mobilisation for pilots, field-testing and data collection.
- A dedicated European Projects Office with experience in design, reporting and financial management across Erasmus+, AMIF/FAMI and national EU-funded calls.
- The Papalagi Transcultural Clinical Centre — one of the few specialised transcultural psychology services in northern Italy — as a distinctive asset for projects addressing mental health, trauma-informed care and psychosocial integration.
- An accredited three-year School of Integrated Counselling (Assocounseling-recognised), providing a national reference point for professional development in intercultural relational competencies.
- Full transparency: our annual Social Report is publicly available and documents our financial management and social impact in detail.
Competencies as an European Partner

Project Management and Reporting
Orizzonti has a dedicated project development office, which oversees design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of European and national projects. The team has experience with EU reporting requirements, financial management and dissemination activities.

Intercultural Expertise and Linguistic Diversity
With intercultural mediation at the core of its identity since foundation, Orizzonti brings deep expertise in working across cultural and linguistic barriers. The organisation’s staff covers more than 20 languages and operates daily in multi-ethnic, multilingual professional contexts.

Psychosocial and Transcultural Clinical Approach
The Papalagi Transcultural Clinical Centre represents a distinctive added value in partnerships addressing mental health, vulnerability, trauma-informed care and psychosocial integration of migrants and refugees – areas of growing relevance across AMIF, CERV and Erasmus+ health and wellbeing strands.

Training Design and Delivery
The organisation designs and delivers experiential, innovation-oriented training programmes for social, educational and health professionals. Its accredited Counselling School provides a national and international reference point for relational competencies and professional development.

Experience with Vulnerable Target Groups
The organisation’s entire history is built around work with people in situations of social vulnerability: asylum seekers and refugees, unaccompanied minors, third-country nationals, detainees and marginalised youth. This operational expertise is directly transferable to EU projects targeting social exclusion, migration and rights.
