OUR SERVICES

From consortium-building to implementation, dissemination and reporting.

Beyond delivering frontline social services, Orizzonti offers European partners a range of operational expertise that can be drawn on at any stage of a project’s lifecycle – from consortium-building to implementation, dissemination and reporting. This expertise is grounded in more than two decades of direct fieldwork with migrants, refugees and vulnerable communities, combined with the administrative and technical experience of a dedicated European Projects Office accustomed to the requirements of Erasmus+, AMIF/FAMI and other EU-funded programmes.

Intercultural Mediation and Linguistic Facilitation

We provide professional mediation and language support services that can be embedded directly into a project’s activities, ensuring genuine accessibility for migrant and foreign-national target groups.

    • Mediation services in education, healthcare, justice and corporate settings, delivered in more than 20 languages by qualified intercultural mediators
    • Italian language courses for migrants and asylum seekers of all ages and competency levels, based on a humanistic-affective teaching approach
    • Training of frontline staff on intercultural communication, unconscious bias and working in multi-ethnic professional environments
    • Artistic intercultural mediation with youth of Italian and migratory background by qualified social workers trained in cultural programmes exchanges and performative arts workshops

Psychosocial and Transcultural Clinical Support

Through the Papalagi Transcultural Clinical Centre, we offer specialised psychological expertise that can support project activities addressing mental health, trauma and the wellbeing of migrant and refugee populations.

  • Individual and group psychological consultations for migrants, refugees, families and unaccompanied minors, delivered through a transcultural clinical lens.
  • Clinical supervision for social and health workers operating in cross-cultural contexts, helping partner organisations build internal capacity.
  • Co-design of psychosocial support protocols for project pilots requiring a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach.

Reception, Integration and Vulnerable Target Groups

Our operational experience managing reception and integration services translates directly into field-testing capacity and access to hard-to-reach target groups for EU-funded pilots and actions.

  • Direct access to beneficiaries including asylum seekers, third-country nationals, unaccompanied minors and detainees, for project piloting and data collection.
  • Legal orientation and social-inclusion pathways covering housing, labour market access and school integration, applicable to projects testing integration models.
  • Multi-agency coordination with Prefectures, municipalities, ASL (Regional Health Authorities) and civil society organisations across the Veneto region.

Training Design and Capacity Building

We design and deliver experiential, innovation-oriented training for professionals working in interculture, mediation, education and psychosocial support – a service that can be adapted to a partner’s specific target audience and learning objectives.

  • Tailored training modules for educators, social workers, healthcare professionals and youth workers, grounded in non-formal and experiential learning methods.
  • Train-the-trainer pathways delivered through our accredited School of Integrated Counselling (Scuola di Counseling Integrato), recognised by Assocounseling.
  • Capacity-building for local practitioners as demonstrated in the SOAVE project, where Orizzonti strengthened territorial service networks for vulnerable minors.

Project Development, Management and Reporting

Our dedicated European Projects Office provides end-to-end support for the design, implementation and reporting of EU-funded initiatives, drawing on direct experience as both lead applicant and partner.

  • Proposal development including needs identification, partner search support and contribution to the drafting of project applications under Erasmus+, AMIF/FAMI and related calls.
  • Implementation and coordination of project activities across multi-site and multi-partner consortia, as demonstrated in EDI-ForJuv and SOAVE.
  • Monitoring, financial management and reporting in line with EU programme requirements, including interim and final technical reports.
  • Dissemination support for project results among local stakeholders, beneficiaries and the wider public, leveraging our established territorial network.
